Comments: I am so sorry for your loss. I looked at all his pictures and read the poems and stories- I just lost my favorite uncle to a brain tumor and I was looking up 'in memory poems' and came across your story- God bless

Comments: I grieve with you today. I pray for your strength and courage to endure until your family is reunited totally with the Lord. I also pray for the truck driver to remember this day, see this site, read the book, but even more importantly to turn his life into a labor for God and to seek and obey His will. We love you Roger, Tami, and Bryan. "

Comments: I also lost my son Mark in 1998 and my heart is still breaking. The pain never goes away. it is there day in an day out. I could not have made it this far with out GOD and his help. My Heart goes out to anyone who has lost a child. They say he took his own life but I know better than that as I knew my son or thought I did.
Comments: I am a friend of Jennifer Hill. I just wanted to let you know how much Justin's book has encouraged me. I lost my girlfriend, Sara, to a car accident on Thanksgiving night of 2003. I was driving the car when we got hit, and her death has been difficult to bare. I take comfort in knowing that Sara was converted to the Lord just 4 months before the accident. Jennifer gave me a copy of Justin's book a few years ago when I first met her, and it has really helped me through this trying time. I am preaching in a Gospel meeting in my hometown on Tuesday, May 18, and I will be using Justin's book and the writings of my girlfriend as sources for the lesson. It is going to be a lesson about looking forward to our Eternal home.
Comments: My brother, Tim, age 43 was killed almost 6 weeks ago, also by a truck driver. He was following a semi and there was an oncoming semi on a 2 lane highway. The semi he was following was ""looking at paperwork"" and went left of center and sideswiped the oncoming semi, who then lost control of his semi and hit my brother head on, killing him instantly. The driver that he was following, who caused the accident has been charged with vehicular homicide. We have the hearing this week and anticipate he will plead no contest and do little if any jail time. Thank God that we know he is in a better place, in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, but our pain is still there. I will share your site with my parents also. Thank you

Comments: I REALLY LIKED YOUR SITE AND i AM SO SORRY ABOUT THE LOSS OF JUSTIN. IHAVE NOT LOST A CHILD (I only have one daughter and she too is a christian) But have lost a 15 year old step brother and now what a gap it leavesin the the family. Our only consolation is that we will see them and Jesus some day and they will no longer be in pain both physically and mentally, being a teen in todays world is not easy and can be harder when you are a professing christian. I have an aunt who also died at the age of 4 from diptheria and would now be in her 80s so I look forward to meeting her and also lots of loved ones who i know are there with God now. You know I know we are not to be jealous of anyone for any thing, but if i had to admit it, it would be that my jealousy would be that my loved ones are up there right now with Jesus and I am here left to carry out the mission He left us all with and that would be to carry out the great commission. My ramblings are much may they help you out in some way

Comments: Though several years have passed, the memories (both good and bad) are ever present in my life. I think back to how close the young Christians were at Gardendale during those years and the bond we will always have because of the tragedy that brought us closer together. This webpage brings back memories and stirs emotions. I will always remember Justin as a teenager who presented a quiet manner, but once you got to know him had a sense of humor that could keep you laughing, and his witty comments never ceased to amaze me. Justin will never be forgotten nor will the example he left. His memory lives in the lives of those he touched. Your family holds a special place in my heart.
