There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about Justin. Tomorrow is his birthday and I can't get him off my mind. I admire so much everything that you have done to try to help others with this experience, and that you have looked to God through it all. Mr. Roger, Mrs. Tami, and Bryan you all mean a lot to me. You and Justin are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Thank you for your comfort. We have lost one of ours. In my racing career I have lost many friends. At one such service the poem by Edgar Guest was read. The person who read it mis-titled it as remembering. I have looked thru 400+ books of Mr. Guests and could not find this poem. Tonite , after learning of our families loss, I desperately needed to hear this poem again, as I intend to read it at the funeral. Somehow your page popped up with the poem. Bless you and thank you.

We just lost our Thomas to an automobile accident in October. He was a nineteen year old college sophmore. Our only child!! I came across you sight and especially touching was the poem The Cord.

My only child, Jake, died suddenly of an astma attack 3yrs ago. I am on my own and life was difficult then, but if I only new then what I know now, I would give anything to have him near me again. He was 10yrs old. In the last 3 yrs I have spent 14 months on a phschiatric ward going through self harm and suicide attempts. I still do not know how I am going to get through.

I too have lost a son to a negligent driver. On my sane days I try to look for positive sites where I might find someone else to share my story with. You are the first that I have come across. I already have learned probably why we have heard nothing from the d.a. office in TN. Travis' crash was much the same. He was sitting at a red traffic light and was hit from behind with no brakes applied by the truck driver. The truck ended up with the tire on my son's seat. My daughter-in-law was severely injured. My son's site is travisroseman.com. So far the driver is not charged with anything. The accident was February 27, 2003. We have the same situation with the leased truck and leased driver. 3 levels of responsibility. This is all I can write now. Please answer me if you can find the time. Alice

I was in the graduating class of 2000, and I was one of the few lucky people to receive a copy of his book. Thank you so much for what you did. That was one of the most amazing things. Justin was in English with me our junior year, Mrs. Dodson more precisely. I remember we had fun laughing and cutting up when the time was right. Again, thank you for what you did and good luck.
