Comments: I read the bereaved parent's wish and it really hit my wife and I hard. We loss our oldest son (29) a month and three days before his 30th. He was working on his doctorate in enviromental engineering. He died July 25th and we are having a hard time coping with the whole grief situation. As the letter says I will never be the same person I was before my child died. It's been seven a half weeks and the pain is just as great today as it was the day he died.

Comments: As a driver, I am profoundly effected by these tragedies. So many of them are avoidable, but drivers push and push and think they ""can make it just fine."" I am sorrowed by your loss. I feel that no one should outlive their children. Thank you for sharing your loss and your story with us. God bless and protect

Comments: To the family: My dearest regrets to this family with their loss. I deeply feel like I should say a bit more than I expected to, but I guess this will be enough. As myself, Christian,I feel like I was the only twelve year old that read this site and actually felt like I understood that poem and the way he felt. Now, I'm not a mad child, no I'm not mad at anybody. But I do feel that way underneath all of this good/bad girl skin. I like to draw too. But I only draw confusing pictures. That confuse your mind - like my mind is right now. Confused. Like I said, my deepest regret to his family. Much love is spread your way.

Your site is so touching, I hope other parents that have lost their children too soon find it comforting. I know I will spread the word.
